Project Description
The Dallas Trinity River Masterplan was an effort to transform the city’s waterfront. It involved creating a massive wetland in the rivers current flood plain to treat storm water runoff, creating lakes and ponds for recreation, transportation upgrades, making access to the river more direct and attractive with boardwalks and bridges, and directing the growth of the city to the rivers new urban edge districts rather than the suburbs. This project was a collaboration with Chan Krieger & Associates, now NBBJ.
