Project Description
This design for a back yard in Cambridge, MA, seeks to maximize the small space by creating a large paved lower area for outdoor dining, with two raised terraces for seating and relaxation. A small zone on the side in between the driveway and yard makes for a nice transition from front to back. The fountain helps create a relaxing ambience by drowning out some of the street noise. We always explore many options through 3d hand sketches, site plans, and photo collages, before arriving at a final design.
